The Whistle Stop pattern is based on the traditional Railroad Crossing Block, a beautiful block of likely Amish origins that began surfacing around the end of the 19th century. This advanced beginner pattern plays with colour and repeating shapes that come together to create a truly striking design.

Christine's choice of colour and texture in this version truly is show stopping! I adore the added central star in this extension quilt pattern.

Please note, this kit does not include the pattern or fabric for the backing, binding, or batting. 4 1/2 yards is required for backing and 2/3 yards for binding.
