Our blades are made out of high carbon steel, and are designed with a universal opening and will fit on other 45 mm rotary cutters with the same design, such as Olfa and Fiskar. 

In 1990, LDH Scissors was founded in Shenzhen, just outside of Hong Kong, by a young couple who simply needed better quality sewing scissors. Fast forward to 2018, their son Roy and his wife Ursula have brought the company to Toronto, Canada, bringing with them the same Love, Dedication and Happiness that made it all possible.

They are constructed from high carbon steel, which are the same materials we make our Midnight Edition Shears from. 

Durability

This can vary person to person, depending on how they use their cutter and the type of cutting mat they have. We tested our rotary blades at different fabric shops in Toronto, who are cutting up to 8 hours a day, five to seven days a week. The results show that our rotary blades lasted between 3 - 4 months.
